Some of my favorite memories from childhood are of the wonderful feasts and dinners my grandmother would put together for Thanksgiving and Christmas. She would always go all out – turkey, stuffing and all the trimmings.
After everyone at the table had stuffed themselves, there was always room for dessert – no matter how deep into our food coma we were.
Grammie would have more than a couple of different kinds of desserts to choose from – homemade squares, candies, and of course pies!
