Recently, I had the pleasure of trying some delicious and unique handmade caramels form McCrea’s Candies.
Let me tell you, these aren’t just your average caramel!
McCrea’s creates irresistible hand-crafted caramels in a variety of unique flavours such as Ginger Fusion, Black Lava Sea Salt, Curried Butternut, and Deep Chocolate – just to name a few.
If you’ve followed me on the blog for awhile now, you might already know that it’s not often that I promote specific products or items. Personally, I feel that it’s only right to promote things on Dishes and Dust Bunnies that I truly believe in and personally enjoy.
After trying these, I can honestly say that they are some of the absolute best caramels that I’ve ever tried. Seriously – no joke!
The variety of flavours available from McCrea’s makes them something spectacular. Every bite of caramel I tried was like it’s own little mini adventure of flavour. Once I tried one flavour I had to keep trying them all.
A few of my personal favorites are Dark Roasted Mocha and Curried Butternut.
One of the things I found most impressive about the caramels in addition to its unique flavours is the company’s commitment to using fresh and honest ingredients. The caramels are made from real ingredients such as fresh milk, fresh cream, cane sugar and butter.
I really love how these caramels taste like something homemade a sweet little grandma slaving away in the kitchen would make. I mean really…
They’re creamy, moist, fresh and soooo good!
