I'm happy to say that I've put the Christmas tree up and I didn't leave it until the last minute this year!
One of the things about decorating a Christmas tree that I never seemed to get around to do in past years is using a tree skirt.
I'm not sure why I've never had one before but it really ties everything together and looks so festive! Â Check out my simple solution for a quick and easy DIY no sew Christmas tree skirt!
This project was so simple I wouldn't even call it a project! Â All items used for the tree skirt came from the dollar store and I ended up spending less than $4 to make this!
How to make this simple Christmas Tree Skirt
Items needed:
- Red fabric table cloth
- Felt Poinsettia flower clips – these had a little wooden clothes pin on the back and came in packs of 4
Here's what I did:
- Just wrap the table cloth around the base of the tree. Â Move it around some until you feel it looks like it's in the most appealing position.
- Use the Poinsettia flower clips to secure the table cloth around the base of the tree. Â I only needed to use 3 up the side where the hem was.
And that's it! Seriously – that's all there is too it! Â It's very simple and looks so nice on the tree!
