I love finding little treasures at the dollar store and using them to create something unexpected and spectacular. Using items found at the dollar store I was able to create this fantastically spooky wreath! You can create your own dollar store DIY Halloween wreath too! Read ahead to see what I did. 🙂
In yesterday's post I showed you how I made an inexpensive DIY Wreath Base in 3 Easy Steps. For this project you can use a wreath base like the one that I created or you can use a purchased one. If you're lucky you might be able to find a pre-made one from the dollar store.
Items Used:
- glue gun
- glue sticks for glue gun
- roll of sparkly orange mesh like fabric
- plastic skulls one a chain decoration
- pre-made Halloween bow
Here's what I did:
[ezcol_1half]It was so simple to make it that it's almost ridiculous!
All I had to do was fold the mesh fabric lengthwise and wrap it around the wreath base and secure it to the base by using my glue gun. Only small dabs of the hot glue is best when using this kind of fabric.
After I arranged the fabric in a way I liked, I used my glue gun to stick the rest of the decorations to the wreath. And that's pretty much all there is to it! I have a wreath hook somewhere in storage so I'll be using that to hang up the wreath.[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end]
