  • 1 package (36) Oreo cookies, crushed into crumbs (reserve a small amount for sprinkling on top of the balls after dipping in chocolate)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups baking chocolate or chocolate wafers, melted

Instructions

  1. Crush Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or rolling pin.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese and Oreo crumbs until smooth.
  3. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a baking sheet lined with wax paper. Chill for 30 minutes.
  4. Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler until completely melted.
  5. Dip each Oreo ball into the melted chocolate, allowing excess chocolate to drip off. Place back on the lined baking sheet.
  6. Before the chocolate hardens, sprinkle crushed Oreo crumbs on top of each truffle.
  7. Let the chocolate harden completely before serving. Add sprinkles or drizzle with white chocolate, if desired.
