I have a small kitchen and there's not a lot of extra space available to set up one of those nifty recipe card stands for use when I'm cooking. It was becoming quite annoying to have search for the recipe card after I had set it down somewhere – it would end up under dishes or containers or fell in a black hole never to be found. Sometimes I can stir up quite the tornado during the whole cooking process.
There are a few recipes that I make quite often using the stand mixer and I've found it's convenient to just tape a few 4×6 recipe cards onto the inside of my cupboard doors. All I have to do is open the door up for quick reference and be on about my business. No need to worry about getting ingredients on the cards or misplacing them somewhere!
Maybe you already do something like this but to me it was a spectacular light bulb moment! lol
